Dr. Edward Alvarez is the visionary Co-Founder and CEO of Restimulate Health™, a pioneering leader in the field of neuromuscular rehabilitation and aesthetic medicine. As the developer of the proprietary Restimulate Health™ protocols, Dr. Alvarez spearheaded groundbreaking clinical studies at the Adaptive Training Foundation, transforming outcomes for individuals with spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, limb amputations, and other neuromuscular conditions through advanced multi-directional electrical muscle stimulation.

Practicing in New York City since 1998, Dr. Alvarez brings over two decades of expertise in healthcare, with degrees from NYU, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School. Originally trained as a dentist, Dr. Alvarez expanded his practice into aesthetic medicine in 2007 and quickly became one of the most respected figures in the field.

Dr. Alvarez is Board Certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and is a Physician Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is a distinguished faculty member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, recognized internationally as a speaker, educator, and thought leader. As a Key Opinion Leader for Cutera®, Dr. Alvarez regularly advises leading medical device companies on innovation, clinical research, and business development.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Alvarez serves on the Board of Advisors for the Donovan and Bank Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting U.S. Army Special Forces Green Berets as they transition from special operations to the civilian business world.

Logan Knowles

Logan Knowles is the dynamic Co-Founder of Restimulate Health™ and an influential leader in the field of adaptive sports and neuromuscular rehabilitation. A national speaker, competitive adaptive athlete, champion skier, and gold medalist in adaptive golf, Logan brings a unique perspective shaped by both personal experience and professional achievement.

Born with cerebral palsy, Logan defied early expectations by learning to walk independently at age 11, demonstrating the determination and resilience that continue to inspire his work today. He holds a degree in Exercise Science from the State University of New York, and has trained and competed at the highest levels in adaptive athletics. Logan’s long-term goal is to represent the United States in the Paralympic Games, further highlighting his commitment to pushing boundaries in both sports and rehabilitation.

Logan serves on the executive board of The Seahorse Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing children with disabilities equal access to education. His expertise in movement limitations, neuromuscular activation, and adaptive training systems positions him as a leading voice in the adaptive rehabilitation space.

Through public advocacy and personal journey, Logan empowers others and drives the mission of Restimulate Health™ to deliver inclusive, transformative care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, limb loss, and other neuromuscular conditions. His leadership, combined with deep clinical insight, ensures Restimulate Health™ remains at the forefront of regenerative physical therapy and innovation.

Jeff Gum US Navy SEAL advisor to Restimulate Health

Jeff Gum, MBA

Former Navy SEAL | Entrepreneur | Philanthropist | Dynamic Speaker

Jeff Gum is a former U.S. Navy SEAL, serial entrepreneur, dedicated philanthropist, and captivating storyteller whose life is a testament to resilience, purpose, and fearless impact. Over a decade of elite service in SEAL Team Five, Jeff deployed twice to the Middle East—first to Fallujah, Iraq as a machine gunner and Intelligence Representative, and later to the United Arab Emirates as a Fire Team Leader, Sniper, and Lead Breacher with the Crisis Response Element. His military career featured selection for the SEAL Breacher and Sniper Schools, a month-long Secret Service mission protecting the President in Hawaii, and a career-altering spinal injury sustained during hostage rescue training.

Demonstrating exceptional leadership, Jeff was promoted to Lead Petty Officer, where he created and led the SEAL Combatives Instructor Course, training seasoned SEALs in advanced hand-to-hand combat and prisoner handling. His expertise took him to Copenhagen, Denmark, where he helped the Danish Frogmen develop their own combatives program, as well as to other elite training missions in Hawaii and Mississippi.

After leaving active duty in 2017, Jeff translated his military-honed discipline and innovation into entrepreneurial success. He founded Sunga Life, a premium swimwear and athleisure brand inspired by Brazilian sungas he discovered while training with the Gracie family. What started as a bold idea grew into a thriving business under Jeff’s leadership, earning national attention. Sunga Life has been worn by celebrities such as Mario Lopez, UFC fighters like Nick Diaz, and professional athletes. The brand has been featured on Fox & Friends, Fox Business with Stuart Varney, and made a splash at Miami Swim Week’s “Supermodels & Superheroes” show, where Jeff and fellow SEALs walked the runway alongside top models. Jeff earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2021; his master’s thesis on Sunga Life won Demo Day at UCLA’s startup accelerator, helping the brand achieve a 700% revenue increase in 2020.

Jeff’s charisma, leadership, and real-world experience have made him a sought-after television personality and media contributor. He starred in Iron Squad 3, a hit Korean reality competition series that reached No. 1 on Korean Netflix and Kocowa, where he and fellow American special operators competed against elite Korean teams in grueling tactical challenges. Jeff is also a recurring standout on MrBeast’s Beast Games, joining Navy SEAL teammates to hunt contestants vying for a private island and $10 million in Panama, showcasing his strategic thinking and relentless drive. His media presence extends to news commentary on Fox & Friends, Newsmax, and Real America’s Voice, and appearances on top podcasts including Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Team Never Quit with Marcus Luttrell, and Mike Drop with Mike Ritland, where his stories of SEAL training, combat, and entrepreneurship have inspired millions.

Deeply committed to veteran support and public service, Jeff co-founded Valor Ranch, an exclusive private shooting range in Palm Beach County created with Special Operations legends like Rob O’Neill, Kaj Larsen, and Drew Plateis. He serves as a board member for the Adaptive Training Foundation, empowering amputee and spinal cord injury survivors with transformative training and adventure therapy. As a Scientific Master Diver with Force Blue, Jeff collaborates with marine scientists to restore Florida’s coral reefs and protect endangered sea turtles. An avid participant in the New York City SEAL Swim, Jeff honors fallen SEALs and 9/11 victims, raising funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation and supporting those who serve.

Kaj Larsen, MPP

Kaj Larsen is an accomplished entrepreneur, national security expert, former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, award-winning journalist, and financial technology leader. Known for his fearless pursuit of impact and storytelling, Kaj’s career bridges the worlds of military service, investigative media, and financial innovation.

Kaj graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz and holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He was awarded a prestigious fellowship from Harvard’s Shorenstein Center for Press, Politics, and Public Policy, as well as a joint fellowship at the Tufts Jebsen Center for Counter-Terrorism Studies. His academic focus included international security, media politics, and public affairs.

After enlisting in the military immediately following September 11, Kaj spent six years on active duty as a U.S. Navy SEAL officer, leading special warfare teams on covert operations around the globe in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He continues his commitment as a SEAL reserve officer assigned to U.S. Special Operations Command.

Kaj is widely recognized for his fearless and in-depth journalism. As Senior Correspondent and Producer for NowThis News, and previously as the host of the Emmy-winning VICE on HBO, Kaj reported from conflict zones in Afghanistan, Nigeria, Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen, Colombia, and beyond. He broke major stories, including the first televised waterboarding demonstration and exclusive interviews with key national security figures. His acclaimed work has earned Emmy and Peabody nominations, Telly Awards, and several Golden Cine Awards. Kaj has produced and hosted a wide range of impactful content for CNN, MSNBC, Current TV, and more. He was also a consultant for HBO’s “The Newsroom” and produced hit series like “US Navy Pirate Hunters” and “LOCKUP.”

Beyond media, Kaj is a fintech innovator and investor. He co-founded Guild Financial—a digital investment and education platform for the military community—which was acquired by Siebert Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: SIEB) in 2024. Kaj now leads Siebert.Valor, a transformative financial technology initiative dedicated to democratizing wealth-building and providing tailored financial education to active-duty military, veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. He is also a key figure at Gebbia Entertainment, focusing on financial literacy media for service members.

A committed public servant, Kaj helped launch The Mission Continues and served on its Board of Directors for five years. He is also an advisor to Team Rubicon Global, deploying for humanitarian missions worldwide. Kaj’s athleticism matches his professional drive—he’s a two-time national champion open-water swimmer, a top finisher in the Escape from Alcatraz duathlon, a practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a competitive mixed martial artist.

Brian Conneely, CIMA

Certified Wealth Strategist | Alternative Investments Expert | Adaptive Sports Advocate

Brian Conneely is a seasoned financial services executive and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) who brings over two decades of expertise to Restimulate Health™. He is the President of Peak Capital Solutions, where he specializes in alternative investment strategies—supporting both established and emerging sponsors in fund creation, operational scaling, and capital raising.

Brian launched his career at Morgan Stanley in New York City and has since held leadership roles at high-profile firms, including W.P. Carey, Rydex Investments (now part of Guggenheim), Sun Life, Allstate Financial, Waypoint Real Estate Investments, and Participant Capital. A graduate of Hofstra University, he earned his CIMA® designation through The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65, and 79 licenses.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian is a committed volunteer and community leader. He serves as a ski instructor with the Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham, NY, and contributes financial oversight as Treasurer of the WRF Parents Association, supporting youth ski racing. He also sits on the advisory board of Yoonify, Inc., a digital real estate investment platform.
